CROSLEY RECORD PLAYER

Crosley has been around for nearly 30 years when dropping their first design in 1992 – so technically a baby compared to other Turntables in the market. However they made it known that they want to be seen and they’ve done just that. You can find these stylist, colourful and portable designs at Target, Walmart and Urban Outfitters.

I got my Crosley as a birthday gift from my husband May 2020 and was beyond excited! I love music and Vinyls are my absolute favourite. I had purchased a Bremer and McCoy album and Lauryn Hill vinyl to have something to compare sounds too. Bremer and McCoy is alternative Jazz and Miss Hill is R&B legendary.

My Crosley this beautiful baby blue colour was a simple suitcase design and bluetooth capability. Other than being really nice to look at it did not serve the purpose I was hoping to achieve.

In less than a month with BRAND NEW vinyls the needle seemed to be damaged, scratching my disks and the turntable was turning wobbly! I was concerned! I had just gotten this, how could it be damaged already?!

VICTROLA 8-IN-1 RECORD PLAYER

Now this record player is far better than my Crosley! Though it is a lot heavier! The design, functionality and use is better by thus far! My turntable is a 8-1-in design which I got from amazon in the colour white. Though it’s over $100 I know this is something I will have for years unlike my Crosley.

It not only has a bluetooth function but it has AM/FM Radio, AUX and USB, but CD, and Cassette options! HOW AMAZING! So many Haitian songs are still on CD’s and Cassettes and to know I can play my throw back music is goals.

The other plus side to this turntable is the PHONO (Vinyl) option! It’s separated from the body so you can have the lid open or close and the Vinyl will not stop or sound muffled for any reason. The volume on this thing is loud so put it as loud or low as you want everyone will hear it.

Since this brand has been around almost 100 years (1902) I trusted that they know what they are doing. I love the simple colours they offer and the White is classic, with the vintage buttons and dials it fits my home and decor.
