Melissa Philippe is an Afro-Indigenous Traditional Midwife, Holistic Wellness Practitioner, and founder of Blissful Connections, Blissful Births, and Rooted in Wisdom. With a background in psychology and over a decade of experience in education, Melissa supports individuals and families through spiritual healing, herbalism, life transitions, and birthwork. She is also a certified life, family, and marriage counsellor, speaker, and maternal educator. Deeply rooted in faith, nature, and ancestral wisdom, Melissa creates sacred spaces for women to reconnect, heal, and grow. Her mission is to nurture whole, thriving communities through education, empowerment, and wellness rooted in love and God’s truth.

Taromi

Taromi is a Birth and Postpartum Doula passionate about supporting women through holistic, informed care. Born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago, she honours her great-aunt’s legacy as a Doula while blending her creative gifts in acting, writing, and directing. 

Danielle Dixon

Danielle Dixon is a Certified Full Spectrum Doula, Community Lactation Professional, and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist with over a decade of experience in holistic reproductive health. She’s passionate about supporting families through every stage of their journey with compassion and care.

Robin Gause

Robin Gause is a mother of two, grandmother of one, and a devoted birth worker based in Atlanta, Georgia by way of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. With over 20 years of experience in the childbirth arena, Robin brings a wealth of knowledge and care to the families she serves. Her journey includes roles as a Nurse, EMT, Doula, Childbirth Educator, Lactation Counselor, Herbalist, Placenta Encapsulator, and Traditional Community Midwife. Passionate about holistic and ancestral birth care, Robin believes in the power of community and reminds us that it truly takes a village to raise a family starting with one mother at a time.
