Rooted in Wisdom, Inc. is in the process of becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation, and we are now officially forming our founding board of directors.

Rooted in Wisdom is an Afro-Indigenous led wellness and education initiative devoted to reclaiming ancestral knowledge, restoring community-based healing, and creating safe, sacred space for intergenerational transformation.

We are looking for 3–4 aligned and committed individuals to walk alongside us in this sacred founding season as we prepare to file for federal nonprofit status.

🌱 Who We’re Seeking

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles on our founding board:

• Treasurer – to provide oversight and support around budgeting and financial transparency
• Secretary – to manage documentation, meeting records, and board compliance
• Marketing & Communications Chair – to support our messaging, branding, and outreach strategy
• Fundraising & Outreach Advisor – to assist with partnership cultivation and resource development

Board members will serve on a volunteer basis as we move through formation and fundraising. The commitment is approximately 2–4 hours per month, including quarterly virtual meetings and occasional collaborative planning.

No prior board experience is required—just a heart for ancestral healing, organisation-building, and spiritual alignment with our mission.
